Standoff systems are components designed specifically to mount signs, glass, artwork, and other types of media at a predetermined distance from virtually any mounting substrate. Standoffs are generally engineered using quality aircraft-grade steel and are available in various diameters and lengths. The Solid Basic Line offers both quality and safety for all intended mounting applications.

The Solid Line is designed to offset flat material signs with a nominal thickness ranging from 3/16“ up to 1-1/2“. These solid, stainless steel standoffs are available in either polished or satin brush finishes.

The Solid Line offers 5 different diameters and 3 varying lengths, providing clients with numerous options when using this particular system. Diameters available are 1/2“, 5/8“, 3/4“, 7/8“, and 1“. Each of these selections is offered in lengths of 3/4“, 1-3/4“, or 2-1/2“. The diameters and lengths used will depend largely on the clients design specifications.

Standoff Systems are essentially comprised of two distinct components: The barrel and the cap. The barrel is placed between the wall surface and the sign by a secure anchor. The length of the barrel determines the overall spacing, and is largely a measure of the project’s design parameters. The cap, or head cap as it may be called, is then placed through the sign material and threaded onto the barrel, safely securing the media in place.

The Solid Basic Line is an attractive, safe, and affordable system to mount signs on virtually any wall surface.
